One of the biggest benefits customers enjoy when purchasing new appliances from Henry's Electric, is the expert service provided from our professional installation team. Nearly every item you buy from us will be delivered and installed directly by our in-house crew—and we'll even haul away your old machines.
That means no dealing with third-party teams or inexperienced employees. From purchase to installation, we handle everything, ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience and total peace of mind for our clients.
With this information, you might be wondering: what should I do to prepare for the installation of my new appliance?
In this week's edition of The Pots and The Pans, we'll walk you through some tips on how to get ready—so the process is quick and hassle-free for both you and our team!
Arrival
When you purchase a new appliance, our sales team will work with you to schedule a delivery that fits your schedule. We offer deliveries Monday through Friday and will always do our best to find a time that's most convenient for you.
If you have a busy or inflexible schedule, no problem. Just let us know in advance if someone else will be at your home to receive the delivery—or if no one will be home—and provide any necessary access directions. We'll take care of the rest!
Obstacles
Are there stairs leading to your main entrance? Is there anything unusual about the path to your driveway or entryway such as hills, rocks, or narrow passes? Will the installation require moving the appliance up or down a flight of stairs inside your home?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, don't worry—we can accommodate most situations. Just be sure to let us know ahead of time!
During the winter months, it is important that all snow and ice is cleared from walkways prior to our arrival to ensure the safety of our team. We also recommend measuring doorways and corridors in advance to make sure they are wide enough to accommodate your new appliance.
Removal
We ask our customers to clear items from the installation path to help prevent damage and keep everyone safe. This includes, but is not limited to, rugs, furnishings, and any valuable personal items.
We also ask you to remove all personal items from your existing appliance before our team arrives. This may include pots, pans, laundry, and any refrigerated or frozen items.
Drop-offs
Finally, if you would like Henry's Electric to deliver your appliance without the installation, we offer that option as well. Simply let us know where you'd like the package placed—such as a porch, deck, or garage—and what delivery time will work best for you.
As with full installations, it is important to let us know about any unusual obstacles along the delivery path and to ensure that any hazards such as snow and ice are properly cleared before our arrival.
Please note that some items with water connections must be held in heated storage areas. If this applies to you, be sure to make prior arrangements to prevent damage.
Wrapping Up
At Henry's Electric, our goal is to make the entire process easy and stress-free from start to finish. Whether you're receiving a full installation or a simple drop-off, our team is here to provide reliable service you can count on every step of the way.
